IT'S ALL OVER!

My degree is finally over and I cannot tell you how excited I am to not have to worry about it any more. Despite arguing with my parents consistently about how much I desperately wanted to go to University, I now realise that maybe... They were right.
In hindsight, I wish I had just saved up money and gone travelling, something I still desperately want to do. I'm excited to get back to blogging and doing things I want to do but more importantly, I'm excited to get back to photography in a way that I want to do it, not in a way I'm being told to.

Yes... Studying photography has taught me and developed my skills, but I also feel it has restricted my creativeness as I have been constantly told what I can and can't do.

The past 3 years have been amazing in the sense of the people I have met and the experiences I have had but as for the education side of things... It definitely wasn't worth the £34,500 that I now owe the government! OUCH.

HOWEVER!
I am now part of an amazing group,
As Young As Yesterday.

We are a collection of 3rd Year Students from ARU and we have put together our own exhibition to show in London, Brick Lane in July.
I'm so excited, and I will keep you all updated on what's going on...

It's getting close!

Thank you all, and I look forward to blogging more!

  1. Oh, congratulations on graduating! Sometimes I wish that I had skipped university, too, but it's still nice to have something to fall back on, I guess! I hope that you'll have a wonderful weekend. :o)

  2. Ah, that student loan makes me feel so sad! I'm in my first year and only owe about $4,000 right now. It's a lot but nowhere near the amount it will be at the end! The things we do for that piece of paper...
