Memorabilia
I'm back from deadlines, and I'm so excited to share my most recent project with you!
I've been working on a short film, which has been the focus of my life for uni since September.

I've been working on a short film, which has been the focus of my life for uni since September.
This project is something that has been very close to home and emotional for me to be involved in...
This is my Grandad, Richard Hampton, age 92. The pictures above are very old, the first was taken back in 1923. His old age is starting to catch up with him and at the end of last year he was diagnosed with Dementia. It's something that has been very hard on our family, as it is with many other families too, and something that I thought would make the perfect motivational and inspirational video.
Memorabilia from May Simpson on Vimeo.
Although this is not the video that I am most proud of, it is the video that has meant the most to me... I just struggled to get too personal as I felt like it would upset my Grandad. This is one of the downsides of photography that I am often faced with as I often choose very serious and emotional subjects.
So what do you all think of my newest short film!?
Hope you enjoy it and hope my grandparents give you some kind of inspiration!
